Simone Giampà was born in Rome in 1984. He obtained in 2008 a degree in Art History at the University La Sapienza of Rome. He lives and works between Rome and Teramo.

My research is directed towards the analysis of the image and its conveyance in everyday life through different techniques and materials. Scraps, fragments, the interstices of time and situations
become items to be seized in their instantaneity.

In this selection process I try to translate the images that I meet in the reality, which are linked to their very specific context, to an iconic dimension very close to the symbol, but did not tie them at the
value inherent in this deadline.

The image should not represent or be at one with the viewer; it should not be memory or remembrance; rather it should delineate an own and new space in the mind of the observer.
